🎬 Bringing Hollywood to NYC Public Schools! 🎬 Our founding Film & CTE Teachers from Motion Picture Technical High School had an unforgettable experience this summer at the Roybal Film Integration Summer Institute, powered by AME Institute, in Los Angeles! 🌟 For four immersive days, our educators joined forces with colleagues from across the nation on iconic NBCUniversal studio lot as well as The Roybal Film & Television Magnet, diving deep into the world of filmmaking alongside industry pros and talented media arts educators. This one-of-a-kind experience wasn’t just about learning—it was about transforming how we teach in public schools. From integrating storytelling into every subject to creating real-world connections for our students, we’re bringing back innovative strategies that will empower the next generation of diverse storytellers and creatives. At Motion Picture Tech, our mission is aligned with that of the Roybal Film and Television Magnet, focused on building a more inclusive pipeline of historically underrepresented, college and career ready students interested in the film and television industries.
