Thank you to @nycschools Chancellor Melissa Aviles-Ramos and her amazing team for the opportunity to capture this magical event.
We are committed to training our students to capture key moments and voices that celebrate world cultures, diversity, and inclusion.
A special shoutout to the talented visual artists from The High School of Art & Design and to our amazing MPT filmmakers: Marieli, Joshwa, Jorge, Rajaa, and Angelina, for stepping up and creating something truly special! 🎥✨ @artanddesignnyc

🌟 What an exciting day yesterday at Motion Picture Technical High School! We were thrilled to welcome Ms. Fallon Ward from the Louisiana Academy of Production, our sister school under the Roybal Film & Television Production Fund partnership. 🎥✨ @laap_br @roybalfilmandtv
Ms. Ward visited our classrooms to witness the “movie” magic happening every day with our founding 9th-grade filmmakers. Our students had the incredible opportunity to hear from her and the team from The New Schools Facility Partners, who shared insights on the amazing bicoastal collaboration between all #INDSTRY partnering Film & CTE schools. Together, we’re all focused on empowering the next generation of filmmakers and industry professionals! 🌎🎬
Congratulations to Louisiana Academy of Production on your upcoming launch—we can’t wait for the exciting collaborations ahead! 💫 #FilmCTE #FutureFilmmakers #BicoastalPartnership #RoybalFund #MotionPictureTechnicalHS #Filmmaking #CTE #IndustryProfessionals
🎬✨ Huge thank you to Superintendent Dr. Josephine Yeboah Van-Ess and the Queens South High Schools team for the warm invitation to represent Motion Picture Technical High School in your amazing community! We’re excited to see the passion for storytelling alive and well in our future filmmakers! 🎥🎞️

Shouting out our creatively talented ENL teacher (and so much more) Rachael Sullivan for sharing this awesome video she made back in 2018, capturing the beauty of our city from the G train! 🚊✨ This video reminds us of the long journeys our founding MPT students take to reach Northern Queens, where Motion Picture Tech proudly calls home. We see you, and we commend each and every one of you who rides the subway daily to chase your dreams with us! Your dedication is not lost on us. We’re thrilled to continue this creative journey together!
