What an amazing day at the 2024 #NYCPSFilmFestival! @nycschools 👏🎥🎥⭐️ Yesterday, Motion Picture Tech Principal Lopez led an engaging panel discussion with top Film and TV pros like @mattydel, Holly Rymon from @hbo, @deborahkampmeier_filmmaker, @ciarancrampton, and @akenefarmermichos. These industry leaders shared invaluable insights on succeeding through networking, embracing failures as stepping stones, and the importance of exploring every creative angle. They also highlighted NYC’s growing significance as a major hub for filmmaking—a city that continually draws creatives back, even after stints in LA. A huge shoutout to all the student honorees who gathered tips on thriving in the dynamic world of film and television. Your creativity and passion are what make NYC the heartbeat of new cinema! A heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, including the panelists and expo partners like @adobe, @reelworks, @svanyc, and many more for dedicating time to nurture the next generation of filmmakers right here in the city. 🎤🎬 Looking back to last week’s fantastic visit to HOBO Audio, a proud NYCPS Vendor and our partner in innovation. Principal Lopez had the opportunity to record professional audio for our MPT Animation Promotional Video 🎥🌟.
